Meet Denise

My name is Denise McInnis. I have studied counseling at Liberty University and have received my ALC, Associate License in Counseling in Alabama. My husband is a pastor and took a church in Mississippi. Due to the laws from state-to-state, my license was unable to be reciprocated in Mississippi. So, therefore, I have worked to obtain my credentials to be ordained as a pastoral counselor. I am presently working toward my doctorate in pastoral counseling. I will continue to work toward getting my LPC, Licensed Professional Counseling, to practice clinical counseling in Mississippi. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families. I have previously served as an elementary school teacher in both Alabama and Mississippi. I serve as a youth pastor at Salem Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Sebastopol, Mississippi. At Still Magnolia, you will be met with a caring, genuine, and qualified counselor who will meet you where you are by offering healing through God's word, prayer, and spiritual guidance.

All of my services are Biblically based. The services I offer are not clinically based due to licensing issues. I am not able to practice clinically in the state of Mississippi until my credentials are satisfied.
